TOPIC: Horizontal LAMP Stacks
The day the site got busy, everything went down in smoldering ruins. Horizontal scaling can help ease this when on a budget, and will serve you well into your site's growth cycle. Gaia Online has grown from 2 servers in 2003 to almost 350 at present day. Anecdotal stories will help show how sites grow, scale, and turn into large deployments.
SPEAKER BIO: A problem solver at heart, Jakob has been programming as a means to satisfy his knowledge thirst for about 10 years.
